No Kids Wedding

When it comes to informing people that kids are not invited to your wedding, there is a few different methods you can go about this. It’s not easy, it’s not fun, but at the end of the day it is your wedding and you deserve to have your wedding how you want. So let’s get started.

Address the envelope very specifically i.e. Mr. & Mrs. Smith or Jane Smith & John Smith

On the RSVP include “Number of guests attending out of 2” follow example below.

If you would like to specifically inform guests on the invite in the details section:

Make it funny: As much as we love your children, we wouldn’t love having them at our wedding. No kids please.

Make it stern and informative: We love your children and know that you do as well, unfortunately no children are invited. This may be an inconvenience and we apologize and thank you in advance for respecting our wishes.

Make it simple: We love your children very much but our wishes are to have no children attend our wedding.

Make it apologetic: We love your children but we would like to inform you there will be no children invited to the wedding. We are sorry for this inconvenience and sorry if that leads to your absence to our wedding.

Make it blunt: NO CHILDREN INVITED

However you make the wording, leave the with the notion that entitled people will still be…..lovely people and still show up with their kids under the philosophy “what are they gonna do if I bring my kid? Turn them away?”
